50 Years of Enterprise - Serving San Francisco Youth - July 11th, 2019 San Francisco City Hall

I had the great pleasure of attending an event at San Francisco City Hall on July 11th, 2019 commemorating Glady Thatcher’s 90th birthday. Glady Thatcher is the founder of Enterprise of Youth, an organization for which I served on the Board of Directors for two terms (2008-2014). Its mission is to help the youth in the San Francisco Bay Area “find a job, and keep a job.” I have been a summer intern sponsor for many years, and can testify to the great work that this organization does. Here are a few pictures from the event, where Mayor London Breed commemorated Enterprise for Youth and Glady Thatcher, and some of the executive group in celebration. The last picture has some of the Youth Corps members and other staff members of this great organization.

It’s been a year since the COVID-19 epidemic first hit us here in the United States, and of course around the entire world. We mourn the catastrophic loss of life and reflect on how much our future will be changed… at least for a while, and maybe longer!
