Billy Jean King - The Silk Speaker Series at University of San Francisco, March 19, 2019
I was inspired by listening to this interview between Jennifer Aziz and Billy Jean King, the legend, the social activist tennis champion, founder of the Women’s Team Tennis Association, World Team Tennis and many other organizations. She was an inspiration to all that was in attendance. Here is a nice article in the San Francisco Chronicle - Billie Jean King isn’t done yet. Thankfully.
When she asked at the end of the interview, “What do you want your legacy to be?” Billy Jean King retorted, “Hey, I’m not done yet!” to wild applause and a standing ovation… Well deserved.
