The COA, of which I am a board member, does its part to work on behalf of California Healthcare.



COA Leaders Travel to Washington DC to Talk to Members of California's Congressional Delegation

Members of the California Orthopaedic Association have been in Washington DC this week to urge Members to:

  1. Restore Medical Research Funding

  2. Urge an Inflationary Update to the Medicare Physician Fee Schedule

  3. Oppose an "Efficiency Standard" Reduction in the Medicare Physician Fee Schedule

  4. Support Legislation That Would Allow Physician-Led Hospitals to be Created or Expanded

  5. Reduce Prior Authorization Requirements that Limit Seniors’ Access to Needed Medical Care
