San Francisco Surgery Center participated in the 3rd Annual Touching Hands Event held in San Francisco, CA.  It is one of the four original centers to offer a day of donated medical care for underinsured and uninsured patients in need of upper extremity care. Throughout the year, my office screens and takes care of such patients with upper extremity conditions at no cost. Those that need to be managed by elective surgery are given the opportunity on this day. All the participants, surgeons, anesthesiologists, nurses, surgical techs, administrative personal, and translators volunteer their time on this day and do so gratefully. San Francisco Surgery Center donates the facility and all of the support for the facility on this day as well.
