Questionnaires received and compiled from the 2-day surgical training course on November 14th and 15th in Houston Texas, chaired by Dr. Diao, received outstanding grades on feedback. A variety of subjects relating to upper extremity orthopaedics was covered, including Dr. Diao’s presentation on carpal tunnel and distal ulnar tunnel, which received a 9.6 out of 10 rating! Overall, the attendees were very receptive to the new, case-based didactic format and the additional lab time.
Dr. Diao will be attending a “Train the Trainers” course in Mahwah, NJ to have a conference on new “best practices” for surgical education across all the various clinical specialists and educators in sports medicine, joint replacement, spinal reconstruction, foot and ankle reconstruction, as well as upper extremity surgery. This will take place February 5th and 6th, at the Hover Learning Center, on the Stryker Corporation Campus.
